How do we film your Virtual Tour ?
The step-by-step Guide to Filming

Pre Filming

After you place your order, one of our photographers will contact you directly, within 24 hours, to schedule a time to meet you at the site and film the property. The time involved to film the tour is approximately 30 minutes for the basic four scenes.

Here are a few tips to help you get the most from your Hawaii Imaging Virtual Tour:

  • Prepare the listing property for filming prior to the photographer's arrival. This can include: removing refrigerator magnets, tidying rooms, making beds, removing pool covers, etc. Similar to preparing for an open house.

  • Lighting - all lamps, chandeliers, closet lights and fixtures should have working light bulbs.

  • Exteriors - avoid trash days, remove automobiles that you do not want in the scene, etc.

  • Don't forget - the scenes are digitally filmed in full 360°x360° degrees around in all directions, "step inside the picture."

MLS number:

If you have not already given us the MLS number for your listing, you should contact our customer service office at (866) 828-1846 or (808) 346-3958.

Alternatively, you can give the MLS number to the photographer when you meet on the filming date. Please remember that your tour will not be found on the Web without the MLS number.

What happens during & after the Filming ?

On Filming Day - You're the Director !

  • The photographer will meet you at the site location and go over which areas you would like filmed. You will be able to determine and preview the scene(s) locations with the photographer at the time of filming.

  • The Photographer will use his or her expertise to film each scene location and create the look that's best for the Web.

  • The Filming Process takes approximately 30 minutes for basic four scenes, allowing that the property is ready for filming.

  • Add Extra Scenes - you may add as many 8 additional scenes to your basic virtual tour, allowing you a total of 12 scenes in all.

Post Filming - What Happens Next ?

Step 1: After your Hawaii Imaging Virtual Tour has been filmed, our photographer will send the images, by FTP to our website, to our processing center. There, our technicians will create a high-quality virtual tour that is automatically linked to REALTOR.com and to the other Web sites you chose.

Step 2: As soon as the virtual tour of your listing is linked to the Web, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you specified at the time of your order. The processing department will e-mail you on how to find your tour on the Internet. Our customer service office will also send you an e-mail describing how much you have been charged for any additional scene(s) or services should they apply.

Step 3: As part of your Hawaii Imaging virtual tour package, we include a free e-Gallery Tour as part of your tour order. Your Virtual Tour and e-Gallery will be mailed to you on our new Mini-CD via U.S. Mail within a few days of completion. For Internet accuracy please make sure that your agent business address and all contact information is kept current with our customer service office.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you must cancel your appointment with the photographer, please provide direct contact with your photographer stating your cancellation.

24hr. Cancellation Notice - requires at least 24 hours prior notification to your scheduled filming appointment. A cancellation fee of $30 will apply for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
